TANK CONFIGURATION & REINFORCEMENT
SUNNIK GRP sectional tanks can be configured with internal or external reinforcement systems to suit project requirements, tank dimensions and site conditions. Modular panel construction also allows tanks to be installed on suitable concrete foundations or steel skid-base systems.

THERMAL PERFORMANCE & INSULATION
GRP provides significantly lower thermal conductivity than metallic tank materials, helping reduce heat transfer through the tank panels. Where additional thermal protection is required, SUNNIK GRP sectional tanks can be supplied with polyurethane insulation.

Low Thermal Conductivity
GRP has significantly lower thermal conductivity than steel, helping reduce heat transfer through the tank walls and limiting temperature changes in stored water.
Up to 240× Lower Thermal Conductivity
Optional Thermal Insulation
For applications requiring additional thermal protection, SUNNIK GRP panels can be supplied with polyurethane foam insulation to further reduce heat transfer and help maintain the temperature of stored water.

DURABILITY & WEATHERING PERFORMANCE
SUNNIK GRP panels have undergone accelerated weathering testing for 3,000 hours to evaluate long-term material performance. Test results demonstrate that key mechanical and physical properties remain above the requirements specified by MS 1390:2010 and SS 245:2014.
